I hope Scott (y)?(er)?, pots one too...It was nice to see his goal a few games ago. He ain't fightin' one of our guys though....
Garth, has a lot of knowledge about the Sabres....so it always strikes me as strange that he doesn't seem to know a lick about player development in the current NHL. Murray has been clear, Nolan has been more than clear....successful coaches and GM's like Mike Babcock, and Dean Lombardi have demonstrated the model.
Let your players develop at a level that is the most beneficial to them, and the team in the long term. Just when guys like Grigorenko and Armia are "finally" starting to live up to their long term projections...we should Immediately call them up to the big club just because. Sooo....ignor....no, near sighted.
I like Gaarths blogs but.....C'mon man. |

The Buffalo Sabres and the Carolina Hurricanes should meet in a toilet bowl championship, no goalies required since neither can score.
Both these teams are a disgrace to the nhl at present, or is the nhl a joke? |

I hear you, a year of development for Armia and Grigorenko would go a long way to a success story for them. Bringing them up to this mess will stunt their growth.

Why is everyone so eager to send Reinhart down before his 9 games are up? He hasn't played terrible. I want to see if he can improve his game in his time there. Send him down after the 9 then bring Grigo up. It's a long season; he'll have his chance. |

I hope Grigo stays with his winning team for this season.

I'm sorry but simply bringing in grigorenko will do nothing for our offense. You can't expect one player to simply make us better. |

John Scott > John Wayne - JCSabs06
Both were mentored by Chuck Norris. Overseen by none other than Matt "freakin" Ellis. |

Not really when you hear talk of expansion, remember the NY Islanders when they won only 8 games. When the Flyers are that bad I will make the same comment. I have been running a keeper league for 36 years now and I have big interest in the Sabres, Hodgson, Myers, Grigo and Armia are mine and I wish things were better. I asked to change my flyerdude17 ane HB will not let me. I would rather be unassociated with any nhl team so I would not be called a troll for visiting team sites that I have players on. That flyerdude17 pisses me off but I am stuck with it. |

Stop by anytime . Most of us Sabres fans welcome outsiders opinions of what they see . Some of the others? Well you know what i'm getting at .

Because they are playing him 6-8 minutes a game on the 4th line. What's the point? Let him play 20 minutes a game in juniors and with some linemates that can actually score.
We did this with Grigs already. Sit him in Buffalo playing with John Scott. Why? 1 game or 20, its a waste of time and potential development. |

Just curious as to why you say that?
Do you mean examples like these:
1. Daniel Paille is the future captain of the Sabres
2. Sekera has sick trade value
3. Gionta will score 50 assists this season. |
